As I, and I know a number of others on this Forum are regular visitors to Prague etc., I thought that today's missive from the British FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) might be of interest, quote:
"If you do not have Czech residency, you will not be allowed to enter the Czech Republic unless you can prove your visit is for one of the purposes set out by the Czech Ministry of the Interior. If you travel to the Czech Republic without proof that your visit is for one of those purposes, you will not be allowed to leave the airport, and will have to return to the UK on the next available flight. See Entry requirements There are limited commercial means of leaving the Czech Republic by air to return to the UK. See Return to the UK Over 300,000 British nationals visit the Czech Republic every year. Most visits are trouble-free." I'm glad to hear the latter but I wonder how long this will last for and how it accords with Jason's visit to Czechia in late July (?). |
