If you mean by cask lager, the key cask versions, no they're still around. Of the top of my head, Geipel use key cask but I can't remeber the others. If it's important, I could find out. Actually, I found the key cask idea quite good - as far as I can see, it's more or less a small-scale version of Tankovna or the system used by Roppelt (the once favourite of one of our more prolific contributors) and the Griesskeller - maybe others? Don't have to repeat my oft repeated views on the Zoigl nonsense. Oh dear Mahrs, the problem of inheritance, I'm afraid. How many businesses have I seen ruined by descendants? I wonder if Herr Michel has increased the profitability of the company by his policies? |
