It's always nice to hear when someone had an enjoyable time here. Were you lucky enough to receive the beer dressed in its beautiful haziness or was it muddled and murky like it can sometimes be? I'll guess the former, based on your glowing report. Frank is a heck of an artisan, in my very humble opinion. Kinda wish (selfishly) he'd brew a very hoppy and bitter pils with Spalter Select or Hallertau Perle. Very curious to see what he can do with 100% pils malt and how much melanoidin characater he can coax from it, as I found his two kellerbiers to be the most melanoidin-rich beers I've ever come across. |
