I'm off to Eschawo September 15 to 26; then meeting Andrew H in Ceske Budjovice, on to Plzen for a night (Sept 30), finally, Praha October 1 - 6, staying in an AirBnB for the first time. I'm trying to work out the situation with buses, metro, trams, etc within the city of Praha. According to my reading of the website, people over 70 years (like me) can travel free and only need to show an ID, such as passport but it's not too clear (www.dpp.cz/en/fares-prague/)..Can anyone clarify please? I'm not worried about the costs, as it's pretty cheap for us, but just the ease of not having to buy a ticket. If you're talking about me, I'm not on insulin (only minimal medication) but I am careful with what I eat, which is why I always stay in apartments, where possible. |
