Nothing to argue with there. Unless I'm mistaken, I think you swapped "objective / subjective" around there. We want an objective reseource for a subjective subject, right? In that sense, I agree totally. Wait. On second thought, I would argue that a beer *can* taste 'good' to one person and 'bad' to another, simply because palates can vary between people. E.g. some people react to bitterness differently and perceive sweetness more or less strongly. There's also variation in how offensive diacytel is between people. But your points about the utility and value of ratebeer are spot on. |
