| I forget, does the company give everyone VGN passes -- is it a standard benefit? Not that you're not special, of course. It's in lieu of the car commuting reimbursement or whatever, isn't it? It's been a while since Mrs did it, but IIRC, she handed in her tickets and got reimbursed when she bussed (back in the dark years before the 201 EXPRESS existed). You've never been to Heiligenstadt or Waischenfeld??? Both are musts. Aufseß is lovely and the food there is great (lovely dining Garten with a Bach like Meister IIRC) but YMMV on the entirety of the place and experience, being it's as much a Hotel as Brauhaus. You've got to do this if you haven't, especially in nice weather. Saturday might not be so horrible with (local/native) tourists too. |
