My 2 Cents on Beer I drank and Breweries I visited

I just came home and this is: IMHO

Visited Brauerei Wagner, Merkendorf
   U from the gravity pour was very Nice. Bitter, but not too bitter. Very fresh. The Pilsener Vom Fass was excellent. Vey crisp,nice and malty The atomophere was awesome. Especially the tall bleach blond server with the black stripe in her hair I drank there for 4 hours. I didn't even make it to Hummel. One of those afternoons?
   Spezial:
   Great atmosphere. I had a great time with some off duty Bamberg Polizei ( a set of twin polizei as well). the U from Gravity pour was fantastic. I went to Spezial directly off the bus from Merkendorf. One of those days!
   Brauerei Witzgall. I visited the brauerei. Had the Landbier from the bottle. it was very good. and the beer vom fass was very nice and fresh. very drinkable. I had a good time there and got a ride back to thr HBF Forchheim from one of the locals who had to go shopping.
Monschambacher Lager:
   I had this Gravity poured from Rotenschild which opened at 20:00. It was very fresh. But thought was very plain and uneventful. Very average. What a lousy explanation., I know, but Im not good at describing tastes.
   Fassla: beautiful pace and set up. There lager was average at best their Pils just average
   Greifenklau: What a cozy, rustic, beautiful place. But I will tell you what.... I wont be walking up that hill to go there again for their Lager. Not very good
   Zur Sonne: Very nice lager vom Fass , Nice place. the lager was crisp smooth and drinkable
   Ayinger Wirsthau Munchen; I had thier Jarhundert from Gravity pour. It was excellent.

   Best atmosphere went to Brauerei Wagner in Merkendorf, and Spezial
   Best Beers: gravity pour- Spezial U and Ayinger J
