The Mahr's Brau "U" Best Atmosphere

I remember reading in the near past that Mahr's screwed around with the "U".  Barry you just reiterated that sentiment.  I really enjoyed Mahr's last time I was there.  Especially drinking by the outside fire smokestack.  Has this change to the "U" been permanant and still happening, or was it a couple of sub par batches??
