Best Beer in Forchheim

I lived in Forchheim for just over a year before moving back to the US recently. Neder and Hebendanz are by far the most consistent. Greif is the largest of all four breweries and lacks any substantive taste in most of its beers. Although I want to support the little guy whenever possible, Eichhorn does not have much to offer. Despite the variety of beers, they are often metallic and blend together.  In my opinion, and this is just my humble opinion, the Hebendanz Annafestbier is the best brew to come out of Forchheim and probably one of the best Festbiers that I have had in general. If you prefer malt over hops, but also a smooth taste, this is your jam. Unfortunately, it is a seasonal beer and is mostly available June through August. Otherwise, Schwarze Anna from Neder is usually a good choice.
