Nice job, I appreciate this. - Lagerbier/Bernsteinfarbenes Landbier That's one I'd like a little clarification on. You've got the various Vollbier & Exports, how do you differentiate a "Lager" from those, and how or why does "Bernsteinfarbenes (amber) Landbier" come to mind for you, related to it? Lagerbier is amber to you fränkischen lot? The BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) is an organisation to standardise judging at American homebrew competitions. American homebrewers are as style-nutty as you can get. They want to know exactly how to formulate a Lichtenhainer (for example) and want it to be judged by someone who has an idea what such a thing should be like. I forget now if BJCP guidelines are used for judging professionally-brewed beer. |
