That is, the (annual?) "farmer's market mile" in Nürnberg, today, 14 June. Looks to be several breweries there according to http://www.bauernmarktmeile.de/nuernberg/lageplan upon which one can see Brauerei Zwanzger of Uehlfeld having a stand, as well as "10 km Bier". 10 KM Bier is an organisation of brewers, originally from around Nürnberg, who agreed to brew beer from ingredients originating no more than 10 km away. Bub, Kanone, and Wiethaler were the first three, but then Dreykorn, Linden-Bräu, and Döbler have also joined up. So, apparently, those beers might be represented. I've not been to this before, but we might well saunter down there today. If so, I don't expect to drink anything but that lovely, lovely Uehlfelder Vollbier. Here is a list of what the various stalls will have on offer, veggies note that they need not feel left out: http://www.bauernmarktmeile.de/nuernberg/einkaufen Anyone else? |
