| It's entirely possible that the young (?) Braumeister has changed things up a bit recently. No, not entirely possible, indeed he has: his new Gaumenkitzler is ...wait for it... an IPA. German-hopped, and "only" 5% ABV, but still, that's pretty earth-shattering for Drosendorf. Don't know anything about Norbert on Farcebook, but his own "beer du jour" website features Göller Lager as the original "craft" beer as well as the Gaumenkitzler (palate tickler). Looks suspiciously dark for an IPA, especially at 5%, and even Norbert mentions the tame-ness of the hopping rate, but still, if it's well-made...and especially at 4.40 € / Mass at the brewery's recent fest... |
