Old town is usually quite expensive. We have some non-smoking pubs, but it is not mandatory (so in reality the majority is smoking). Unfortunately there isn't many beer gardens in the center of Prague with good beer. In the walking distance (< 15 minutes) from Old town you could try Strahov brewery (my top in CZ, garden, smoking and non-smoking parts). http://www.klasterni-pivovar.cz/index.php?process=34&languageID=2 Brewery "U 3 ruzi" in the Old town - http://www.u3r.cz/en/ (no garden, non-smoking) Nota bene http://www.notabene-restaurant.cz/ (non-smoking, no garden) Pivovarsky klub (http://www.pivovarskyklub.com/ (non-smoking, no garden, various beers) Pivovarsky dum (brewery, same shareholder as Pivovarsky klub, non-smoking, no garden - only own beers http://www.pivovarskydum.com/ ) Kulovy Blesk - http://www.restauracekulovyblesk.cz/dnesnacepu# (good beers, reasonable prices, garden, however food not so good) Dno Pytle - http://www.dnopytle.cz/ (no garden, non-smoking, very small, but good beers, including beers from Oberfranken :-) ) Het Anker - http://t-anker.cz/en/news/ - nice terrase view, non-smoking, slightly more expensive Krkonosska hospudka - http://www.krkonosskahospudka.cz/ (non-smoking, no garden) There are then some good one-beer places, some them includes Pilsner Urquell (for example if you would like to try good P-U, then either "U Zlatého tygra" or "U Jelínků" is a must, but both of them are usually full, so just for one quick beer at the standing point :-) |
