Yes it does.  IMHO, this is their best beer.  While I do find the general smoke character of Schlenkerla to be more interesting and alluring, the Spezial Rauchmarzen is overall a much more well-rounded and multidimensional beer (has some really interesting delicate esters, for example) than Schlenkerla Marzen, even if I remember it being a bit thin.  Enjoy!
