found both by chance today! i was looking for another 'unicorn' as well so i found 2 unicorns according to the creature. Helles was vom Fass but the Festbock came in bottle. howeverrrrrrr, not in Spielbach. hopefully monday, if they're open. making a phone call to morrow to check if they're open (apparently from 6pm only). oh btw, i did make it to Neder. the Schwemme was unbearably toxic (to walk through). even inside it was hard to breathe. i don't think anyone in there was under 60 years of age (no problem for me. i get on best with pensioners). should have packed my own lunch, too, just like some regulars. i did enjoy every moment of being in the place. i did look very very out of place in there lol... i could feel the intensity of curiosity, albeit well hidden. i was wondering if there's another place that could beat Rothenburg in terms of 'the best preserved medieval walled city'. apparently Rot. reigns supreme. no wonder it enjoys a tremendous tourist popularity. tomorrow is another day of beer hunting :) zum wohl! |
