| In my personal case, what's changed is, I basically no longer eat pork, out of newly-found respect for the pig as a fairly intelligent creature, more intelligent than I care to eat. And then, of course, there's the question of how the animals are raised and how much antiobiotica they're pumped full of in the gigantic industrial facilities of modern-day, as-cheap-meat-as-possible-obsessed Germanic Europe, outside of organic farming, at least. (And that's me, stepping down from my soap box.) |
