| Yeah of course I agree Ireland is not for the beer tourist. Although it's gotten slightly better for sure. All of the above places mentioned I'm interested in visiting and will gradually one at a time. Prague is next. But I have soft spot for Ireland. It may not compare to the finer cities in Europe, it's lacking in beer variety in quality, but there's just something about the dear little island that I really love. I have to revist it every 3 years or so just because it makes me happy to be reminded that there are still places like the West of Ireland left in the world. I've never been a big fan of Dublin but I will probably stop there for a night just to visit some of the pubs that Fred has blogged about on his trips. But mostly I enjoy County Mayo, Co. Clare, etc. |
