Some news from Bamberg

I just drank one of the Mahrs "aU" bottles that my friends from Hamburg brought over to me with them last week.  They got it at a new beer shop in Hamburg.  Also told me that a new brew pub has recently opened in Hamburg that not only brews its own beers but has a couple of beers on tap and in bottle from Franconia. Franconian beer is starting to trickle into other parts of Germany which I hope is a very good sign.
