Roppelt's Last Day 09.10.

Okay, so I was wrong. I was mis-lead by the website saying Monday was closed, when in fact it wasn't, and then I figured Franz would want to have two days off (Wed/Thu) after the last day, so I thought today (Tue) would be the last day. No, tomorrow it is. And I shall be there, unlike last year, when I was enjoying all that Sheffield's environs (the Peak District) had to offer. Anyone else? Can't promise I'll drink to make up for the rest of youse. It was so good today, thank bad Kellerwetter for keeping more beer lagering longer than normal this year. Franz will have to be there, I'll ask him if his beer's ungespundet, how it's served in the Gaststätte vs. Keller, and of course, about the Bock. There was a great big banner advertising the Bockbieranstich hanging over the drive to the Keller today, FWIW. Weird, that.
