You won't get many locals who know the area better than those on the site Dan (and especially Fred). Best thing to do on such a short visit is to plan it to a T before you arrive to save scrambling around looking at maps when you get there. I would suggest keeping to the brewpubs and walking round them all will give you a tour of the old town as well. Forget kaiserdom and ambrausianum. Only visit greifenklau if you have time. If you want to try some beers from the countryside go to cafe abseits. It's all in Freds guide. Please drink responsibly.
