| We (native English-- or, if it pleases m' lud, native English-dialect-speakers) never really have to learn them though, so at least we have that as an excuse. The Bull's Head Inn just out the back door and across the road from Piccadilly Station is another classic pub IMO, though it is a Marston's house. Always seems to be a couple of Ringwoods on there, which is an interesting thing for me, a despiser of NE US Ringwood-inspired beers, as they're quite decent. And a guest or something *innovative* from Marston as well! It's become my/our default post-landing, pre-departure, stop in and out of Manchester. |
