| I use Fonic (discount brand of O2) they have a smartphone only package (500MB transfer in month) for €9.95. THey also have an unlimited data plan for €2.50/day, capped at €25/month (i.e. after 10 days free for the rest of the month). You can use it in a phone or in a "surf stick" (USB modem) and both tethering and VOIP are explicitly allowed (many providers try to restrict VOIP -- Skype and the like) Calling rates are decent, 9 cent to North America and any German number (and EU landline I think) I am actually tethering to my android phone right now as the FeWo internet is down. |
