Vatertag - May or June?

It's a busy day, in Jersey it is a national holiday for liberation day. Without dwelling on it, on may 9th 1945 jersey was liberated after the German occupation of the island. Jersey and the other channel islands were the only part of British territory that was occupied and was one of the last parts in Europe to be liberated. I guess Christi himmelfahrt is German for ascension day. Sounds like a good day to spend in beer gardens watching the dads get drunk! And thats exactly what im doing.
