| Had a bottle of this the other night and was absolutely blown away by it. Normally, a good breweries Kellerbier in bottle is very good but just don't quite have that edge that they do on draft. The carbonation can sometimes get in the way and you lose that subtlety and softness that makes the style so good. Its a little like British real ales in the bottle; on draft those subtleties are just that little bit more detectable. Anyway, I have been to Brauerei Kundmuller but it was the end of a long day and I can't remember how good the beer was (if this is happening at aged 28 its all down hill from here on in). I'm thinking I should get back there soon. Anyone else have any opinions on this beer/brewery/bottle? |
