OT: Muenchen

Perhaps I should now draw a line under this discussion, which, as anticipated, has produced some interesting responses! Still not sure whether Muenchen is worth a visit but it does seem a little more exciting than Augsburg, which seems fairly staid - at least in terms of breweries. In spite of of being home to the excellent Hirschbrauerei, Leipheim is not that well placed. Radbrauerei Bucher in neighbouring Gunzburg offers very bland fare, as does the very upmarket Schlossbrauerei in Autenried. One visit to Ulm is sufficent and, after that, you have to travel a longish way to find anything of interest. So, we'll just have to see what happens or what we fancy on the day - maybe we should save ourselves for the pleasures of Escahwo, especially as we are going to have good FF company for much of the time!
