| Some places for Your meeting I recommend: Do You know the "pub" of Weyermann? It is a private, non-licensed room/pub with a dispenser, refrigators etc., nice ambiance, part of the enterprise building, near of the Weyermann Braumanafaktur. Many beer labels at the walls. I can't speak for Weyermann and doesn't know if they want to offer this room and service and beer and maybe food for free. But it is a phantastic place and a special location, because this room is only available for guests of the famous Bavarian Party of Weyermann and other events, for the employees and sometimes for the visitors. Maybe it would be an honor for the malthouse and Sabine Weyermann to have Your group as guests. Small problem: The malthouse doesn't work on Saturday, so You can see only buildings without working employees. Maybe You can ask Hannes Schulters, the chef of the Franconian brewery museum. Do You know the first room after the entrance of the brewery museum. They have no gastronomic license but can use this room for their members and guests (closed groups). This room has a nice ambience. The Franconian Brewery Museum use the rooms of the former brewery St. Michaelsberg, the historic first brewery in Bamberg. And on easter maybe they have regular visitors of the museum who walk through this room. Another nice place is the second room of the brewpub Fässla (left of the entrance). You can close the door, so other guests can't disturb. A second door goes directly to the street (Untere Königstraße). Near possibilities to visit the brewery Fässla in the same building and the brewery Spezial across the street. Near distance to the old City and maybe the hotels. I don'T remember if the room is big enough for 40 guests. |
