Pubs do not like wastage and over size glasses + poorly trained staff creates waste as they pour over the line. However, the Germans seem the most relaxed about "lines" and especially in some of the bigger cities (Munich), where the beer is poured with a huge slice of judgement but more than a little hope that it reaches the line. When beer is served in a krug its almost impossible to tell. Not that I really care that much, what comes around goes around. |
