| Germany is not the US. Because something works one way in one country, it is does mean it works the same way everywhere else. I have contacted the Bahn once or twice by mail and got responses from them in a reasonable amount of time. In your post you never explained whether you were aware of the cancellation policy, if you tried to cancel and how and when you tried to cancel. These are obviously important points. If you hadn't cancelled in time, then, unpleasant as it must have been, I can understand why they tried to collect money from you. |
