The entrance to the railway station is at the "Radhaus", a parking house for bicyles in the Brennerstraße. Look the map (600 meters or 8 minutes foot walk from Café Abseits to the Radhaus): https://www.google.com/maps?saddr=cafe+abseits&daddr=Das+Radhaus+der+Stadwerke+Bamberg,+Das+Radhaus+der+Stadwerke+Bamberg,+Brennerstra%C3%9Fe+9A,+96052+Bamberg,+Deutschland&hl=de&ie=UTF8&ll=49.900108,10.903931&spn=0.007933,0.013797&sll=49.907184,10.899854&sspn=0.015865,0.027595&geocode=Felo-QId0m-mACGiq5myVNsZJSn1o71IdCOiRzGiq5myVNsZJQ%3BFepv-QIdN1OmACGIN1FDQ9Wk6CnfKbcQciOiRzGIN1FDQ9Wk6A&doflg=ptm&mra=iwd&t=m&z=16 The foot walk under the rails isn't a part of the map. There is also a bus line from the Radhaus to the Café Abseits (station Neuerbstraße) with 2 stations distance. But in the most cases You need more time to wait for the bus than the walk. "Radhaus": Not to be confused with the town hall ("Rathaus"). The new Rathaus (town hall) is at the Maxplatz. The old Rathaus is the famous old building on a small island with the porcelain museum. |
