Taxis from Bamberg

Why bother? You can buy a Bayern ticket for €22 (for one person, plus €2 for each additional person up to 5), which will cover return journey from Bamberg to Forchheim and also 265 bus to Stiebarlimbach (Roppelt), Quick walk up the Kreuzberg, few beers, then walk back down to Hallerndorf and pick up the 265 going back to Forchheim, etc. It's a much easier walk that way, even J. managed it up the hill from Roppelt, whereas, it's a long drag from Hallerndorf. Thanks to Nick for the knowledge!
