Vetter is a microbrewery in Heidelberg, one of the oldest microbreweries in Germany. Presumably the "Vetters 33" is only available in the brewpub and maybe some pubs in Heidelberg. Allgäuer Cambonator is a Doppelbock from the "Allgäuer Brauhaus". http://www.allgaeuer-brauhaus.de/ The brewery in Kempten (Allgäu, near the Alpes/Bodensee), is part of the Radeberger Gruppe (Dr. Oetker) with Jever, Radeberger,Tucher etc., the greatest German brewery group with a market share of around 25%. Theoratically You can - as a pub owner - order beers from the Allgäuer Brauhaus in all parts of Germany. But these beers are not distributed regular in all parts of Germany (not listed for all wholesalers). The Ettaler Klosterbrauerei is part of the Benediktinerabtei Ettal http://www.allgaeuer-brauhaus.de/ located an hour in the south of Munich. We have sold/tapped beers of this brewery some years ago in the Café Abseits. We have picked up an great volume of these beers in Ettal. Those beers are good, but the demand was small. Beers of the Klosterbrauerei Andechs are more popular. Beers of Ettal are available at the Kloster brewpub and in the region. The Spaten Optimator is available the whole year in the USA, but in Germany only a seasonal product (p.e. not listed/described in the German website). Hacker-Pschorr is part of the Schörghuber Gruppe with paulaner.de hackerpschorr.de auerbraeu.de hopfweisse.de thurnundtaxisbiere.de kulmbacher.de sternquell.de braustolz.de scherdelbier.de wuerzburger-hofbraeu.de bad-brambacher.de fuerstenberg.de hoepfner.de schmucker-bier.de Heineken has a share of 49% of these group. The Weiss Bock is not listed at the brewery website http://www.hackerpschorr.de/ You find there only the "Animator" - a dark, down fermented Doppelbock. Maybe the Weiss Bock is a product only for the american market? |
