Hobby- vs. Hausbrauer |

So if I brew my own beer at home with my own equipment and then drink it at home, am I a Hausbrauer or Hobbybrauer? I imagine the latter. If I installed the required facilities and obtained the required health department / tax licences (shudder!), and then let other people brew their beer "in meinem Haus", would I then be a Hausbrauer? IOW, what's the difference between the two? Hobbybrauer == "homebrewer", doing it as a hobby. But Hausbrauer sounds quasi-commercial. Oder? |
