England again, homebrewing, etc.

Nick, you now know more about the beers of Manchester and environs than a native Mancunian! Fair play to you. Pity you didn't try the Hyde's Mild, as it used to be a fairly low gravity (3.5%?), light coloured beer, not so hoppy but a real quaffing drink, a bit like Robbie's mild. I'll have to get to grips with British beers again - it's not that I live that far away.
