I've always been a hophead, this is not something I've become since being surrounded by so much under-hopped Frankenbier. Hence my preference for properly hoppy beers like Roppelt, Griess, et. al. So there is no CO2 tap at Mahr's at all? It's only bottles or casks? I just don't go there often enough to have noticed. I may stop in for a Bock before long, when I go back for more *excellent* Karpfen at Keesmann. (But no more late nights at Abseits for a while!) I think you British lot call the German gravity-pour casks "tubs", right?
