Yobbishness in Manchester

Now you do surprise me, I would have thought that Robbies, who have a range of lowish gravity beers, would have been right up your street. The current Arndale is actually a rehash of the original, which was bombed (bomb in a post box). Some say that it's a pity that the bombers didn't make a better job of it. I spend little time in the Smoke now but there is a huge range of beers available but often quite pricey. I usually stay at a friends in Hackney and, nearly next door, there is a pub that sells Timmy Taylor's Landlord (nearly my all time favourite ale), and a couple of others. Also, the Pembury, which was once a grotty pub, has been relaunched as a real ale bar.
