Bamberg to Leipzig?

You have a two-hourly connection by ICE or IC, travel time (station to station) 2 hrs 50 min. If you book in advance a one way ticket will be from 39 euro, so 78 return. When in Leipzig, buy a day ticket for local transport (at the tram station in front of the railway station) and go to at least the following two places: Bayerischer Bahnhof, brews Gose and other nice beers, usually four of them. If you ask the waitress, you can get small tasting glasses of all of them. Also have a meal there. Ohne Bedenken, the pub that started the revival of Gose, in summer they are open in the afternoon as well, with a nice beergarden. They used to offer two Goses, the Leipziger from Bayerischer Bahnhof and the Dòllnitzer Ritterguts Gose. You may also search for the last one in bottle a a good drinks shop.
