The German word for "cooper" is "Binder" or "Fassbinder" (masc.), so "Binner" is likely a dialect version. Add it to your Pfälzisch-English dictionary. Great reports on happenings in the Oberpfalz, and I hope you can get out to Falkenberg or other towns too.
