| Hey, I told DB and VGN the problem of the missing villages at the DB ticket machines last year. But they didn´t understand the problem. It´s a fact that a ticket to a specified commune isn´t always valid to the villages belonging to this commune. That means that you only can buy a ticket to Pretzfeld, but not to Unterzaunsbach (part of Pretzfeld). Because of Unterzaunsbach is in another zone than Pretzfeld, your ticket isn´t valid for the ride to Unterzaunsbach... So you can´t buy a ticket Forchheim-Unterzaunsbach at a DB ticket machine for example. If the Bamberg bus ticket machines sell all day tickets, I don´t know. But I estimate. Otherwise the VGN don´t had any significance (right word?) at Bamberg. So the bus drivers would sell all tickets, too. I know that it´s possible at Bayreuth, so I think it works at Bamberg busses and ticket machines, too. |
