Great Expectations - More news!

It's much easier to add priming sugar to your batch all at once, rather than fiddling about with individual bottles. Siphon your batch off into another bucket. Boil up some water and add "normal" cane sugar (I use 2 tablespoons of sugar per gallon of beer). Allow to cool and add to batch and stir in gently. Then just siphon off into your bottles. Leave for a month before you start drinking them. Bitter or stouts are the easiest brews to make, as they mask any off flavours caused by glitches in the fermentation.
