Icy blasts!

This has beengoing on for a week or so and is coming from Northern Europe. That being the case, on the West coast, we are doing better than most of Oreland, with Dublin and Leinster particularly hard hit. Is it global warming or just a blip? We had the same last year, only a month later. In Ireland, they work out the seasons according to the weather pattern. So, spring starts Feb 1; Summer May 1 (Misummer day June 22- also St. John;s Day); Autumn August 1; Winter Nov 1. Seemed strange to me coming from UK but I've gradually realised that, generally, it works out quite well. Just going down to Tesco's to get some Duval and homebrew kit on the way shortly.
