| [Not directed at TreinJan, who certainly knows this already!] The terms "Bock" and "Doppelbock" are reserved for beers whose original gravities are 1.064 or greater and 1.072 or greater, respectively, regardless of alcohol strength. (If we want to get technical!) Or 16 & 18 Plato, or 16% & 18% "Stammwürze", or 16° & 18° Balling (right?). |
