| I do recommend flying to and from NUE, generally, though in this case, you've run into some pretty bad bloody luck: the train restrictions end on the 22nd. The world is an imperfect place. And now that I've just supported your aim of conserving vacation/holiday time and efforts, I'll turn around and say that you shouldn't sleep on arrival, but suffer through that first day and stay up until night time. You east coaster's have three hours LESS jet-lag and travel to deal with than west coaster's do, and I really think you do yourselves a dis-service when you crash during your first day. Keep moving and drinking (water and beer, not coffee) on that first day, and hit the bed at 21:00 or later--you'll be up and better for it early in the morning on the next day, with less jet lag. IME, anyway. (But who am I --or who is anyone-- to tell anyone else what to do with their holiday?) Email me a day or so before you leave. |
