"Whit Sunday/Monday" might not say much to Yanks; Pentecost is usually what they call it over there. Does anyone know whence the "Whit"? This time of year is confusing for us Ausländer. From Easter to August, it's one oddly-placed holiday after another, with a couple of 2-week-long school breaks thrown in as well. But I ain't complaining.
