Roppelt's and Kreuzberg Kellers |

| Hi everyone. Dan and I are thinking about hitting the Kreuzberg Kellers on either Monday, May 17th or Tuesday, May 18th. We'll be buying a Bayern-Ticket for this excursion. I've checked out the excellent "how to get there" wiki at the top of the board and I only have a couple of questions. All of the Kellers there will be open at 11AM except for Lieberth which will open at 3PM. 1) Is it easy to find the 265 bus stop when we get off the train from Bamberg in Forchheim? I guess we'll be looking for one that says it's going to Willersdorf since that's the end of the line right? I wasn't sure if we were boarding at the end of the line in Forchheim or not. 2) Most of the descriptions I've seen start at Roppelt's in Stiebarlimbach then up to the Kellers on top of the hill and back down to Hallerndorf to pick up a bus. Is this the best way to do it? If we decided to start in Hallerndorf to hike to the Kellers and then back down to Roppelt's in Stiebarlimbach which stop should we use in Hallerndorf? We'd like to take the easiest climb to the Kellers. Thanks guys! Joelle |
