| The "Bierfilm" is a documentary film of around 90 minutes (?) with many interviews, p.e. with Fred Waltman, many Bamberg brewmasters and others, episods about the Brewery Museum, the Biertage, Bamberg as a beautiful city, Bockbieranstiche, the maltery weyerman, Kaspar Schulz, the Sandkerwa, the Spezi Keller, the Wilde Rose Keller, the Wunderburg, brewpubs etc. You can see a trailer http://www.bierfilm.de http://bierfilm.de/trailer and also photos (moviescenes) http://bierfilm.de/szenenbilder The theme is "only" the breweries of Bamberg City, not of Bamberg County. Because the quality is high (made from young professioals), I think they will choose a Bamberg cinema. I have read the date of 23th april in the FBM News (print newsletter of the Franconian Brewery Museum 1/2010), but without the location of the cinema. They have the idea to produce a DVD too. The film team has promised to invite me to the premiere. So I hope, they disremember this, and I can poste the date and the location of the premiere. I have some special Bierfilm coaster at Café Abseits (please ask me). |
