| Had some yesterday at Schlenkerla. Meh. The Rauch is a *lot* milder than from the beechwood. It was barely noticeable, actually. It's a pleasant enough beer, but not one I'll go out of my way for again. I guess I like beechwood smoked Rauchbier a lot better. The place was absolutely crushed with people--last Friday late afternoon/early evening before Xmas. Have a nice trip! |
