| I visited the brewery pub and got the Helles and the Rotbier from the cask. The Rot wasn't caramelly at all. It tasted all "Rotbier-like" and very well produced. I even thought it had some special flavours as those deriving from the using of Hersbrucker hops, but I'm no brewer, so could be mistaken. The Helles was comparable with a Nikl-Bräu maybe, but (IMO) slightly better. Probably the skills of the brewer are increasing with the experience?! Jürgen (still impressed...) |
