Bock

I hope to make it to one of the other Fischers (Freudeneck) and Eichhorn (Dörfleins) on Tuesday, both of whom supposedly will still have Bock on by then. What's so awesome about the Benediktator? While I found it interesting, I also found it too strong, and the Oregon/Washington hops just didn't work right. It was as if an Orygun brewpub had brewed it, albeit with better success in the maltiness than typical for brewpub beer. So, if it *had* been brewed in the US, we'd be condemning it for being too extreme and using the wrong hops. But being an experiment here in Franken, it's great? ;)
