Pity the sober driver! (Be sure to know the speed limits on country roads, and remember to allow bikes at least a meter of clearance when passing; this area is heavily biked.) Burg Rabenstein is lovely and the tour interesting enough. There's a small bit of a castle in Waischenfeld. http://www.burg-waischenfeld.de/ http://www.fraenkische-schweiz.com/burgen/burg_waischenfeld.html . Coburg's fortress is pretty large, and if you like castles, then I say it's a must. The Griess Kellerbier in Geisfeld is hoppy and bitter, whereas the Sauer Braunbier in Roßdorf ain't at all. |
