Bierkeller/biergartens when are they open?

I was in Bamberg on April 19th, and had a splendid lunchtime session in the great outdoors at the Spezialkeller. The weather was quite conducive to it, being a fine sunny spring day and all. But in winter? About the only such places you're likely to find open are the ones with indoor seating, such as the Spezialkeller, or the nice new-ish Friedlkeller in the Kreuzberg. February, though ... not so much. About the only people looking to drink beer outside then are the crazy Americans, perhaps ;-)
